Rules Questions. Do you have a question on the rules of golf? Let me know and I will try to answer your questions. Did you know you can get line of site relief from a sprinkler head? Even if the sprinkler head does not affect your stance and swing, you can still take free relief. Your ball must be within two clubs lengths of the sprinkler and the sprinkler must be within two club lengths of the green. If that is the case, you can lift clean and drop your ball within one club length of the nearest relief, no closer to the hole. Now you know!
We all want to make Meadowmeer a more enjoyable experience for everyone who plays here. One way to ensure a better experience for everyone is to make sure you do your part.
Taking care of your golf course.
- Carry sand and seed containers located on the 1st tee to fill in divots on the golf course.
- Fix your ball mark and one or two others.
- Observe the white line rule and keep your golf cart away from greens and tees.
- Leave the sand trap in better shape then you found it.
- Use the ninety degree rule and avoid traffic patterns that damage the turf.
Respect your fellow golfers.
- Let faster players play through. If you enjoy a more leisurely pace, seek out certain times of day that allow you to play more slowly. Golfers that want to play fast should also seek out tee times when the course is less crowded.
- Treat every other golfer like you would expect to be treated.
- Good etiquette and sportsmanship are what make golf such a pleasure to play.

Telephone trouble. We have been experiencing telephone issues. We have changed phones and expect the issues to be resolved. Rather than having an automated message where you select from several options, we will just have two lines that will take you to the department you desire. The 842-2218 number will take you directly to the golf shop. The 842-8119 will take you to the Grill where you can also be transferred to the office.
